The Mythical Mountain

Ask any pro living in Girona which climb defines the area and the answer is always the same: Rocacorba. Ten kilometers of winding tarmac through silent oak and chestnut forest, with ramps touching 13% and a summit crowned by the famous red-and-white antenna.

The views from the top — over Lake Banyoles to the Pyrenees — are worth every pedal stroke. This is a bucket-list climb, and riding it with a local guide means knowing exactly where the gradients bite and where to recover.
